Urban Canada
Urbanization is a fact of Canadian life. With approximately 80 per cent of Canadians residing in cities, it is imperative that students understand the issues associated with urban living. Urban Canada approaches the study of city life in two ways. A demographic approach examines the movements of people to cities, while a socio-cultural one emphasizes the pervasiveness of urban-oriented thinking, culture, and organization within society . Urban Canada provides a succinct discussion of urban issues from a uniquely Canadian perspective
